Ted tests negative for HIV. At Blake’s urging, Ted auditions for a job as an opera-singing waiter and is surprised when he gets hired. But when he sees all his old friends, except Emmett, at the restaurant to show their support, an embarrassed Ted stops in the middle of an aria and angrily leaves.
At the apartment that Justin shares with Daphne, Cody gives Justin and other Pink Posse recruits a severe military haircut. Cody rejects Daphne’s bid to join the vigilante group, telling her that it’s for gays only. Later, Cody convinces Justin to take their crusade beyond Liberty Avenue. Outside a hetero country-and-western bar, the two kiss, intentionally provoking a negative comment from a man. The ensuing argument escalates to violence as Cody and Justin physically attack the man.
Justin’s mother, Jennifer, is startled by the change in her son’s appearance and upset by his participation in the Pink Posse. Real estate agent Jennifer initially shows Brian a conventional office space for his new company, but after he asks for something more creative, she shows him an abandoned bathhouse, and Kinnetik finds a home at last.
Meanwhile, Uncle Vic moves out of Debbie’s house and into an apartment with his boyfriend, Rodney. And an icy Emmett, who has been angry with Michael for encouraging Ted, finally, with a little prodding by Brian, thaws.
