もともとイギリスで作られたTVドラマのUS版リメイク。イギリスのオリジナルの焼き直しっていう部分がまだまだ目立つ。
初回から飛ばしてるね〜 とも言えるし、初回からこんぐらいやんないとインパクト無いしねとも。
英語が苦手だから無理、と思ってる人も、とにかくこの初回と2回目、とりあえず見てみるのがおすすめ。きっと意外とわかるはず.. メインキャラの説明は読んでおくほうがいいかもね。
テレビドラマここまで見せるかっていうシーンも出てくるけど、そんなことよりストーリーだよ。やっぱ引きつける物は。英語がわかるかどうかっていうのはあまり関係ないかも。あるひと曰く、見てるうちにわかるようになる。きっとそうだと思う。
ブライアンがどうしようもなく、やなやつだったんだけど、話が進むうちにそれはそれで愛せるキャラだと思えてくる。ジャスティンの成長もおもしろい。マイケルは結局自分的には微妙だけど、ナレーター兼、デビーの息子として重要。テッドはこのドラマにはまるきっかけのひとつになった上司からの言葉を出させるキーキャラ。エメット、このポジション必要だよね。
まず、第1回を見た人、ぜひどんどん次を見てってくださいね。(DVDだと、2回目にそのまま続いちゃうけど..) (24Jun07)

For a group of gay twenty-somethings in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, love may prove elusive, but sex is always available, especially for Brian (series star GALE HAROLD), a lusty advertising executive who's perpetually in search of his next conquest. But Michael (series star HAL SPARKS), who secretly loves Brian, finds his longtime friendship with the self-serving hedonist frequently aggravating. Michael's single friends, flamboyant roommate Emmett (series star PETER PAIGE) a window dresser and cyberporn-loving accountant Ted (series star SCOTT LOWELL), urge him to date other guys.
Outside the erotically charged nightclub Babylon, Brian aggressively flirts with a high school student, Justin (series star RANDY HARRISON), and takes him home. But their escapade is interrupted by the news that Brian's friend from college, Lindsay (series star THEA GILL), a lesbian to whom he had donated sperm, is delivering their baby. Brian, Justin and Michael go to the hospital to meet Brian's newborn son, Gus. Later, completely smitten with Brian, nervous 17-year-old Justin eagerly surrenders his virginity.
