After the demise of his relationship with Ben, Michael searches for a new boyfriend via a personal ad, a dating service and, at Debbie’s insistence, a matchmaker named Ida, who is really a man in drag. Ida tells Michael to meet his mate at a certain restaurant. When Michael arrives there at the appointed time, he sees Ben sitting alone in a booth. Upset at first that Ida has arranged a date with Ben, Michael accepts that he is fated to be with Ben. But Michael soon learns that Ben’s presence there is just a coincidence and storms out of the restaurant.
Meanwhile, Emmett (aka “Fetch”) receives many letters, gifts and kinky requests as a result of his appearances on Ted’s porno Web site. One secret admirer, pickle magnate George Schickel (recurring guest star BRUCE GRAY), sends Emmett an expensive gold bracelet, but Emmett is insulted when the much older man offers him money in exchange for sex. At Brian’s urging, Justin attends Daphne’s party to socialize with other teenagers. Justin has sex with an inexperienced boy and later scorns him when he appears at the diner to profess his love for Justin.
